Sedona Dining

Sedona Restaurants

Savor gorgeous views and freshly made salsas, guacamole, breads and made-from-scratch Mexican and Southwestern cuisine at Javelina Cantina in Hozho Plaza. Walk on the wild side and eat like a cowboy at the Cowboy Club & Silver Saddle Room, where rattlesnake, buffalo and cactus, as well as 16-ounce steaks, baby back ribs, pot pie made in a cast iron skillet and other great selections are served up in the casual dining room featuring the second largest set of Longhorn horns in the US, or in the luxurious Silver Saddle Fine Dining Room, complete with suede booths and a rock fireplace. If a taste of the East is what you crave, Takashi Japanese Restaurant serves up fresh sushi, tempura, teriyaki, sashimi and other Japanese favorites.

For a more refined dining experience, visit L'Auberge Restaurant. With a seasonal menu offering fresh, local vegetables and herbs as well as specialties like Juniper Dusted Duck Breast & Duck Confit Timbale, Carnaroli Risotto and Axis Venison Loin, all served in the formal dining room or on the outdoor patio adjacent to Oak Creek, L'Auberge is, according to Condé Nast Traveler, "one of the top ten restaurants in the Southwest."

For breakfast, lunch and snacks, there are plenty of places perfect for a casual bite. For a sandwich stacked high with all your favorites, head to Wildflower Bread Company or Sedona Memories Bakery & Cafe both offer picnic baskets to go. The Oak Creek Brewery and Grill offers appetizers like beer-battered fried pickles and soft pretzels, and sandwiches, salads, soups, barbecue, pizzas and burgers. With offerings such as their Lemon Crème Stuffed French Toast, Monte Cristo Brioche, and Southwest Breakfast Wrap, the Heartline Cafe makes a great morning meal. The Secret Garden Cafe at Tlaquepaque also serves breakfast, with favorites like deep dish quiche, french toast, croissant sandwiches and bacon and eggs.

This is just a small sampling of the restaurants in Sedona. From high-end gourmet cuisine to down-home cowboy favorites, you can find whatever it is you're craving just minutes from the Matterhorn Inn.
